Final Reflection
1. In terms of presentation skills (using your voice, body language, visuals etc.), what did you learn through the three presentation projects and lessons in AEP?
Through the three presentations, I learned various types of ways to present in front of people and effective ways of using voice and visuals.
I still get nervous when giving presentations, but I learned that it is important to enjoy. I found presenting something that others don't know and providing the listeners with new information through presentation was quite fun!
Also, in terms of skills, I became more conscious with my ways of speaking and ways of using body languages and visuals.
2. What do you want to continue to improve?
Since I still get nervous and tend to speak faster than usual, I want to make myself calm down when giving presentations. Also, I only have the basic skills for making visuals so I hope to learn more and be able to use more effective visuals!3. (Optional) Any other comments or reflections?
I enjoyed all the classes of AEP and I was able to learn a lot from AEP! What I learned in this class will sure help me! I enjoyed all my classmates presentations and I learned a lot from them too! Also, looking at the video of myself speaking was embarrassing but very effective way to see what I needed to improve! At last, Mark and Sylvan!!!! thank you very much for many advice and help!!! I really really enjoyed this class! :)
Hope that someday I would become lover of giving presentations!!!! Group Goals for the final presentation

PechaKucha presentation review
My impression of PK presentation
*I found it difficult to have a limit of 20 seconds. It made me hard to tell what I really want to tell within this limited time.
*Watching the PK presentation was more easier to listen because I knew that it will end in 6 min.
*I felt that PK is kind of one way presentation since it does not have any toss of questions to the audience.
*PK slides have more constant movement compared to other presentation slides and it made the viewers less getting bored and kept peoples attention

*talk slowly
*calm down / relax
*practice many times before presentation
*enjoy the presentation

Self-Analysis & Goal-Setting
Self-Analysis & Goal-Setting
1. Voice (Volume, rate, pausing, emphasis etc)
Reflection:My goal was to speak slowly. I feel that, compared to my previous experience of presentations, I was able to talk in a clam speed. However, my intonation was quite monotone that it heard like I was giving a reputation in the presentation. Also, I felt that my voice tone was quite high.
Goals:I want to talk more in a lower, calm voice and use more effective use of pausing in the presentation.
2. Body Language (Eye contact, gestures, posture etc)
Reflection:I seem to be moving my hands in a non-meaning way. Also, I had a couple of time looking at the slides while I talked.
Goals:I want to use more effective use of gestures which helps the audience understand more about the content.
3. Visuals (Images or text on slides, timing etc)
Reflection:I was able to use the slides and also a real object for catching the audiences attention. However throughout my slides I feel that it lacks consistency in the use of font and colors.
Goals:I want to improve my skills on making slides and since i couldn't spend a lot of time on making the slides, I would like to work harder on it next time.
4. Preparation Process (Topic selection, notes, visuals creation, rehearsals etc)
Reflection: My goals of this presentation was to give a logical presentation. However, while I talked it seemed that I was adding more information than I was practicing. Also, I practiced by writing a script and memorizing a certain sentences for each slide so I was trying to use that sentence even if it is not connected logically to the previous sentence. For my selection of the topic, I think I choose a good one which is quite familiar to the audience and is interesting to listen.
Goals:For the next presentation, I want to rehearsal my presentation by not memorizing the script but by focusing on catching the points I want to talk with the slides.
5. Any other reflections or goals?

I was still quite nervous about giving the presentation, but I enjoyed it. Next time I give the presentation, I want to be able to talk with more confidence and
